After studying and really reading through the Young Women theme I learned a lot. The opening line states "We are daughters of our Heavenly Father..." How comforting to know that we are daughters of Heavenly Father. When I think of that I think of how I am always representing him through the choices I make. It's sort of like having a last name, all of my actions reflect the Keddington name, because I am a Keddington. It's the same all of our actions reflect Heavenly Father which is why we need to keep ourselves morally & spiritually clean and do our best to remain sin free. Each day I will try a little harder to be a little better. To remember who's name I am representing. Also to always remember the Young Women values, and keep them in my mind as I make decisions throughout my life.

Choice & Accountability Additional Value Experience #4

Repentance to me means an opportunity to change. I'm so grateful for the sacrifice that my brother, savior, and redeemer made for me. I can't imagine the pain and long suffering he went through. The process of repentance is not easy and it's very painful. But when you think about the pain Jesus went through it makes it seem easy. Repentance is not easy, but it is worth it. The relief you feel after repenting is an indescribable feeling. It feels like you just dropped a big boulder you've been carrying with you. The worry & pain is gone. I feel that we are so blessed to have repentance in our lives, so that we may be able to return to live with our Father in Heaven & to one day become perfect.

Choice & Accountability Additional Value Experience #5

While reading these scriptures if found that we must be worthy to have to constant companionship of the Holy Ghost. There are many things that we must do to be able to have him with us like going to church, taking the Sacrament, keeping The Commandments, Etc. By doing these things we are worthy to have the Holy Ghost with us at all times. The Holy Ghost can help us do anything. I think prayer is an essential part of having The Holy Ghost with us. When can ask him for help in anything we're struggling with and he will always be there to help us, to comfort us, to guide & direct us. All we have to do is live worthily and get down on our knees and ask.

Knowledge Required Experience #2

Experience Description: In your journal list talents you have and others you would like to develop. Read Matthew 25:14–30. Learn a new skill or talent that will help you care for your own future family or home (for example, playing the piano, singing, budgeting, time management, cooking, sewing, or child care). Share with your family, class, or Young Women leader what you have learned.
For this experience, I took singing lessons and performed in a concert. By doing this, I have learned good discipline that will help me in life. It has also taught me how to have the desire and motivation to reach my goals.  

        

Knowledge Additional Value Experience #2

For my knowledge additional value experience #2, I attended the Mormon Miracle pagenat at the Manti Temple. I learned how hard it was for the early members of the church, and how they all made sacrifices to establish the church, and make it the way it is today. They were asked to make many sacrifices, like leaving their homes amongst other things.
D&C 52:42: 42 And thus, even as I have said, if ye are faithful ye shall assemble yourselves together to rejoice upon the land of ^aMissouri, which is the land of your ^binheritance, which is now the land of your enemies.

Good Works Extra Value Experience

For One of my Good works extra value expereinces, I helped with my cheerleading group at a tournament for an organization that creates suicide awareness. I learned how important and special the gift of life is, and how easily it can be taken awy. I also learned how important it is to realize your self worth.
D&C 15:6: 6 And now, behold, I say unto you, that the thing which will be of the most worth unto you will be to ^adeclare ^brepentance unto this people, that you may bring ^csouls unto me, that you may ^drest with them in the ^ekingdom of my ^fFather. Amen.

My Project is: To make a video project about drinking and being impressionable
My Plan to carry out this idea:

-A scripture that goes along with this project: 13 And if ye shall say there is ^ano law, ye shall also say there is no sin. If ye shall say there is no sin, ye shall also say there is no righteousness. And if there be no righteousness there be no happiness. And if there be no righteousness nor happiness there be no punishment nor misery. And if these things are not ^bthere is no God. And if there is no God we are not, neither the earth; for there could have been no creation of things, neither to act nor to be acted upon; wherefore, all things must have vanished away

From doing this video, I learned there are consequences to bad choices. Other people are affected by our wrong doings, sometimes causing awful tragedies, such as the loss of a child, and long lasting troubles and trials to others.
